지금 이태원에서 촬영 중인데 디자이너 박소햔의 Post December이란 라인을 찍는 거다. 그다음에 바로 천계천에 가서 비키니 촬영을 할 거고. 우리 열심히 촬연하는 거니까 정신이 없는데도 와서 인사해주기 바래요. 휴! 덥고 힘들어!

린다 이바젤리스타가 Vogue Korea의 창간호에 나왔는데 이 1996년도의 동아일보 기사를 봤나요? 재밌네. 일단 축하해, Vogue Korea 진짜 많이 발전됐고 많이 해왔다.
Apparently, when Linda Evangelista came to Korea to shoot the cover for the first issue of Vogue Korea, it was a very, very big deal. The main headline from the press conference she gave: “I really like bulgogi and kimchi.” Well, what she said, in the entirety of the opening quote to this article, was: “I’ve always liked kimchi and bulgogi, so I’ve always wanted to visit Korea, and I’m happy that I got to come as the cover model for the first issue of Vogue Korea.” Well, that’s what they said she said. ^^

쉽게 말할게요. 캡틴아메리카(한국에서는 ‘퍼스트아벤저’)가 이번 여름의 가장 재밌는 할리우드영화다. 다른 마블(Marvel)스튜디오의 영화처럼 (아언맨, 헐크, 토르) 잘 만들었는데 ‘캡틴아메리카’는 뭔가 조금 더 있었던 거야. 할리우드가 잘 만들 수 있는 그 마슬이 있잖아. 그리고 영웅영화들 중에 반드시 3등이다 — 1, 2등을 역시 ‘아이언맨’과 ‘다크나이트’가 잡았지만 ‘캡틴아메리카’는 바로 다음이다. 대본이 아주 똑똑하게 만든 거고 대화부분이 아주 해학적적이었다. 근데 제일 중요한 건 우리 영웅주인공은 믹을 수 있는 인간이었다. 이 영화를 보니까 헐리우드의 대표적인 최고 작품이야. 이번 여름에 아무 딴 헐리우드의 영화를 재밌게 관람했다면 ‘캡틴아메리카’를 꼭 만나러 가야 되겠네. 그리고 걱정마. 지나친 미국의 애국심이 나오는 것아니라 캡틴아메리카의 역사를 기억해야 되요. 이 인물이 원래 세계2차대전 때 미국에서 나온 뫈화책이었고 존재한 이유는 바로 그 때의 애국심을 키우려고 하는 목적이었지. 21세기이라 이 부분을 흉내하면서도 어느정도 재밌게 즐거운 포인트이다. 왜냐하면 아무리 미국의 현실 정책과 행동을 비판할 구 있는데도 미국의 소설에서 일어난 ‘캡틴아메리카’ 동해서만 온 세계를 구하는 걸 상상하기 쉬운 거죠. “캡틴 아메리카, 고고 see!”
Captain America: The First Avenger was, quite simply, amazing. It was easily the best summer action hero flick, and takes an undisputable place right behind The Dark Knight and Ironman as one of the best action hero flicks ever. The story and film, like the fictional main character, had real heart and was a joy to watch. The action was tight, the dialogue was spare-but-effective, and you might even find yourself strangely moved a couple of time. If you enjoyed ANY Hollywood flick this year, then you have to see this one. It’s Hollywood done right, and one can’t deny that saving the world behind a shield of red, white, and blue is something that it has (and can!) do well. Bravo to Marvel Studios for making me actually look forward to next summer’s Avengers movie. Well done!
